The Man and His Life

I wake up in the morning. I tidy up the bed and then I go for my morning walk. Thereafter, at home, I would arrange to boil the water and fill up the water containers so that the "fellas" can have their water ready for them when they are thirsty.
Before going to work, I try to catch up on the latest news on the local and foreign scene so that I have something to talk when I go "yam cha" with my buddies. My working hours will stretch until late evening when I arrived home. Of course lah, I go home for lunch as I was asked to take "home cooked food" as my body cannot take a lot of unhealthy outside food.
After work, on certain days, I will have to go to our favourite bakery and buy some buns and cakes for my fellas to eat when there are hungry and to take to school the next morning. I would also go to a nearby vegetable stall and get some greens for the next few days. Upon reaching home, I will try to catch up on the latest news and see whether the market is up or down for the day. Then, I would also check on whether there is enough of drinking water for the next day.On certain occasions, I would do some brisk walking in the late evening as well. After about half an hour's rest on some days, I would have to fetch my kid from the tuition centre and upon reaching home, I will try to have my dinner. As I take my dinner rather late, I would try not to sleep early and sometimes I would take a walk at one of the hypermarkets and knowing me, I would have to buy something, especially those things that come with some gift items. I always have a weakness for these gift items.
Before I go to sleep, most times I would have to arrange the ironing board and related accessories back to the place where they belong. And before I can lie on the bed, I would also have to clear up the bundle of clothes on the bed.
At the end of the day, I am told that I did not help in maintaining the cleaniness of the house!
