What an irony?
Anwar Ibrahim's appeal in the Appeals Court was thrown out as the submission of documents was written in English and not in Bahasa Malaysia as the national language, asserted the Judge, Abdul Malek.
The bleady joke to this judgment was that Justice Abdul Malek's judgement of 30 pages was all written in English!!!!

Prisoners cannot speak in mother-tongue!
The country is going to the dogs or the dogs are going to eat up the country. What kind of cuckoo enforcers do we have in this country. The Negri Sembilan authorities are enforcing a rule that prisoners can only communicate with relatives and friends only in Bahasa Malaysia or English. Imagine 2 Chinese or 2 Indians talking to each other in Bahasa Malysia if they cannot speak English.
We need to build a more competitive spirit in the country in order to move forward ecoomically and also show a more united front to lure investors into our country due to our political stability. Instead we have stupid people running such institutions and it is sad such ridiculous policies are allow to profilerate in this country.

ASSHOLE FRIEND
What would you do when a long time friend of yours who regularly seeks you out for consultancy advice and one fine day you found out that he has hijacked one of your clients. Why do we have such idiots born to this world. He seek your advice coming in with pen, paper with his draft and asked for your comments and to make amendment on the draft. Telling him what to do is not enough. He would prefer to ask the easy way out-pls give me a sample.
And to go further, after putting up with the final draft, he would fax to you for your final approval. Sure, they would give you something in return - having breakfast with you on a bowl of curry me or a set lunch.
Talking about helping friends!!!!
With friend like this, who needs enemies.
Somemore, he tells me he is a god-fearing........MY GAWD!!!!
FUCK YOU HOLY COW!!! ASSHOLE

Amy and Leong dumplings
Me and my family are addicted to Amy and Leong dumplings. The siew mai, kaya dumpling and the sang yook dumpling is soooooooo nice. It is so much better and economical that many of those more established ones.
I have a knack of finding new joints whether for good food or good bargains before they make themselves more well known and thereafter raise their prices.
Fresh Elections -What? I dont understand
Boh Liow wants fresh elections in MCA BUT only for the Central Committee but not for Youth and Wanita Chiefs
What Liow? You dumbhead - if you want fresh elections, do it once and for all and right down to the central delegates. Give more members a say in the elections and hopefully we can have better leaders coming out and not dumbheads like you.

Kuala Dimensi -MACC Boss Does Not Know What is it?
The "salted egg"(Hamdan) of the MACC said yesterday he does not know what is this Kuala Dimensi all about.
If Najib has any honour, he would have immediately remove our "salted egg" from the office of the MACC.
Ask anybody who reads newspapers and I believe 9 out of 10 will be able to tell you what Kuala Dimensi is famous for and for its link to one of the biggest scandal in the 50 years of our country history.
By comparison, you Ong Tee Keat stands much taller than him in the eyes of the Malaysian Public.
Anyway, how much do you expect from such a guy, whose son is a pilot and was caught smuggling in child pornography into Australia. Sick father, sick son!
Boh Liow! Lai Liow!
Liow Tiong Lai (former deputy president of MCA) is now a wretched man; a desperado gasping for air.
No EGM to Yes EGM. Fighting for Deputy President to No Fighting for Deputy President.
Ong Tee Keat has no honour - I agreed. How many politicians has honour?. People like Ling Liong Sik and Chan Kong Choy - now with the beans being spilled, I believe everyone knows that when they were holding the highest positions in the MCA and being rewarded with Ministership, what have they done for the Chinese Community-they have been spending most of the time building up their wealth and taking the Chinese Community for a ride.
Now, which is better, Traitors or No Honour?

MCA BULL SHIT
THE MCA CRISIS:-
1. Chew Mei Fun and Wee Ka Siong at the CC Meeting stood up and demand for OTK resignation!!
2. Veteran Wong Mook Leong banged table and demand for OTK resignation!!
Just one week earlier, all you buggers were solidly behind OTK before EGM.
Remember what OTK said. All the CC and Presidential Council members should quit if the resolutions were defeated. If you buggers had disagreed there and then, why didn't you all voice out and go public with your views.
ALL YOU ASSHOLES ARE SELF SERVING AND SHOULD STEP DOWN FOR THE SAKE OF THE CHINESE COMMUNITY. THATS THE MAIN REASON WHY THE MCA LOST SO BADLY IN THE LAST GE.

Something Just Dont Change
The world is evolving and every second there are changes and new beginnings. But something just dont change -dont believe?
The gomen has once again put up a tainted candidate in the Bagan Pinang by-election. This person was found guilty of corruption and suspended by his party for 3 years and at his current age, he should be put to pasture and should be grazing at the greenhills.
So, if the gomen is talking about change, would you believe it?
They need to be dumped!
Very Stressful Nowadays
Dont know why, ah? Nowadays getting very stressful. Maybe getting too kan cheong over small little things.
Eat also eat less alredi. Exercise also doing more.
Today buying fish at the market also telling my wife to buy big fish to eat. She always buy small fishes to eat. Getting old and somemore all these small fishes got a lot of bones.
Your Educational Options
Students nowadays are very lucky to have so many options as to the various careers to pursue and the multitude of courses available at the various institutions of higher learning. As education is a very competitive industry, these institutions have printed colourful brochures to entice students with very good write-ups of the various courses and the likely job opeining available upon graduation.
During my time, if you want to do engineering, your options are either civil, mechanical, electrical and chemical. Now you have things like Process engineering, Materials Eng, Polymer Eng, Software and Hardware Eng. Basically, there are more than 101 types of courses available and all these are set out in the respective brochures.
So, before making an informed decision, go through the various brochures and see what fits your ideals and choose your career path.
Your Say
If you know your direction, show commitment, determination and responsibility, I will back you all the way even to the extent of a cut in the quantum of my regular meals!
If you have neither, be prepared to slog it out in the future. Its your life!
Work hard when you are young and cultivate the right discipline for the way forward.
Many opportunities comes but once. You miss it, you had it.

MCA Tussle - Arrogant or Tainted?
I declare I am not an active MCA member though I was once with the party. If CSL were to get his way and lead the MCA, I as a Chinese will be terribly embarrassed to have such a morally tainted leader as one of the leaders of the Chinese Community.
He keep on saying that he did not tape the incident and therefore he should not be faulted. Why then did you resign in the first place if what you say now is accepted. The very fact that you were caught on video in a compromising postion with another woman who is not your wife is utterly disgusting and shocking.
Let's say if you are invited to Beijing to attend a conference on "Enhancing the Chinese Culture and the Way Forward" and you are suppose to deliver a working paper on the scenario in Malaysia.
All of a sudden, copies of your infamous VCDs start appearing on the " pasar malams" in the Chinese city!
What an impact that will be? Your damage to the Malaysians of Chinese origin will be beyond redemption in the many years ahead.
Please exit gracefully and take all your dirty supporters with you.
Like they say, " God's will and he has plans for you".

Where to get good Pau
To those who crave for good and cheap dumplings (Pau), I would recommend you to go to Kampong Simee in the evening and look out for "Amy and Leong" stall who sells a wide variety of dumplings at very reasonable prices. They are quite nice and is a definite value for money proposition. This stall is located opposite the claypot chicken rice stall across the road and near the market. You would be surprise to see BMWs and Benz lining up to buy.
Earlier in the afternoon, you can also get one of the best roast pork in Ipoh and also the Tai Kau Min(TKM) around the same area. The TKM stall is not always open as the proprietor is mainly "doing it for fun". He has a son who is quite a successful doctor. See how an elderly man spent his time.

Roger, You did your best.......
Roger Federer quest for a record matching six wins at the US Open did not materialise after he failed to convert the crucial points. I saw him playing some of his best tennis of his career but sometimes you need that little bit of luck more than once. He seldom lose in tie breaks and always win when leading set points or match points. This was not his day.
I think lady luck was not with him this time compared to his time at the French Open or that epic tussle with Andy Roddick at Wimbledon. I believe based on his display today, I have no qualms that he would win more Grand Slams in the near future before retirement.
Roger, you are still the greatest.....Tiger Woods has also failed at several Majors this season after going in at his best form.

Roger Federer Close Shave...
I went online and check on Roger's game against Soderling. After winning the first two sets at 6-0 and 6-3 and about 3-3 in the third game, I thought it would be an easy win for Roger. When I did the update a short while later, it was 6-6 and later 7-6 in favour of Soderling.
Knowing that Roger may have taken the third set easy after winning the first two, I believe he would have tighten his game and breeze through the fourth game. Imagine my shock when I did the update and he was tied 6-6 and involved in another tie-break. If Soderling took the fourth set, it would be touch and go in the decider.
Luckily, Federer spared us the tension and also his when he found his rhythm or Soderling crack under pressure to win 8-6 in the tie break.

Some Don'ts to Remember
1.- DON'T SLEEP WITH WATCH
Watches can emit a certain level of radioactivity. Though small, but if you wear your watch to bed for a long time, it might have adverse effects on your health.
2 - DON'T SLEEP WITH BRA
Scientists in America have discovered that those who wear bras for more than 12 hours have a higher risk of getting breast cancer. So go to bed without it.
3 - DON'T SLEEP WITH PHONE
Putting the phone beside your bed or anywhere near you is not encouraged. Though some of us will use phones as alarm clocks, but please put the phone as far as possible. Scientists have proved that electrical items including mobile phones and television sets emit magnetic waves when used. These waves can cause disruptions to our nervous system. Therefore if you need to put your mobile phone near you, switch it off first.
4 - DON'T SLEEP WITH MAKE UP
People who sleep with make up might have skin problems in the long run. Sleeping with make up will cause the skin to have difficulty in breathing and problem in perspiring. You will also need a much longer time to go into deep sleep.
Lastly..... 5 - DON'T SLEEP WITH OTHERS' WIFE / HUSBAND
You may never wake up again.

Fu San Restaurant "Tai Pau"
It has been quite sometime since I last tasted a Tai Pau. So this morning, after our daily walk, I decided to go and get some tim sun at Fu San. You cannot get a place in the Restaurant during the weekends nothwithstanding that the new premises was huge compared with the previous place.
I told my half to get me a tai pau and also get me four fishballs. She can have her own choice.
You know what she got me. A tai pau and 2 balls! What happened to the other 2 balls, I asked.
She said she decided on 2 fishballs and bought some egg tarts and other dim sun for the kids.
Women. Cannot understand them!
What your boss says, ah?
I was in KL last Friday for a seminar and also had a meeting with my chief on the plans going forward. Of course, a lot of things was discussed and views were exchanged on both business and personal matters.
It was quite a tiring day and upon reaching home your other half asked you" What your boss says, ah?". "How?" Never mention anything, ah. Cannot be, must have said something.
Women.

Ibrahim Ali vs Khairy Jamaluddin
Ibrahim Katak says:
Son-in-Law replies:
Khairy melalui Twitternya berkata, "Ibrahim Ali said checks by his org showed that the cow's head not aimed at Hindus but at MB& non-Hindu Excos. — Must think Msians stupid."
(Kata Ibrahim Ali, semakan oleh orang-orangnya mendapati, kepala lembu itu bukan ditujukan kepada Hindu tetapi MB dan Exco bukan-Hindu — mesti dia fikir orang Malaysia bodoh).
Admission of Third World Mentality
Remember Zainuddin Maidin, the former Information Minister aka Erection Minister aka Celup Tayar.
When comparing Singpore and us, he said Singaporeans has developed world mentality and third class democracy. The asshole did not stop there and said though Malaysians has third world mentality, we have developed democracy. Fxxx him. We are neither third world mentality nor developed democracy.
We are developed world mentality and third world democracy, idiot!

Why! Why! Tell Me Why!
After passing your driving test, you still are not happy. Why!
You may have done it the correct way and deserve better but then you also must understand that the tester cannot give you full marks or near to full marks coz he would be accused of favouritism and alleged corruption.
Try to understand the situation and do not make it complicated for yourself.
You need to change and be more accomodating to make yourself happy and not indulge in self-pitiness.

Bad Habits
I am always attracted to promotional items and especially those where they offer you gifts as well.
Why ah! Anything wrong ah!
Not me alone attraced to such promotions. Many others do also.
That's why you employ marketing people to do the job.
We made it to CNN and BBC news headlines!
Malaysians always yearn for the longest, shortest, biggest, tallest, widest and what not to make it to the World Records or at least to the Malaysian Book of Records. For the past 2 days, we made it to the headlines in both CNN and BBC for proposed caning of a young lady for consuming beer in public.
The sheer thought of carrying out such punishment has cut down the holidays for the PM and he had to rush back to get the overeager authorities to defer such punishment knowing that such action would have worldwide repercussions for our country so called moderate Islamic country.
He has now asked the lady to appeal against the decision so that a revised form of punishment would be handed down to avoid such embarrasment to the country. More so, when such punishment was handed down from his home state.
Fellow Malaysians of the Muslim faith, watch your back, PAS enforcement officers from Selangor are waiting to pounce on you.
MACC, Judiciary and Police Force - dont be naughty!

Papa Federer Won!. Pirate Barrichello also won!
Roger Federer was again at his best when he captured the Cincinnati Open beating Djokovic in the final. He also played well in the Canadian tournament but unfortunately, luck was not on his side when he lost after leading 5-1 in the decider.
Looks like being a father to two little twins has made a whole lot of difference to his life and happiness.
I am also glad that Sharapova is coming back to her best also. I also wish Kim Clisters the best also.
Its also nice to see that Barrichello was on top of the podium for winning the European F1. But what happened to him. Maybe the "pirate" looks give him the change of luck he badly needs. Clean means kosong!

Ada Style!
I bought a pair of lounge suit and pants for my kid who wanted something different for his AGM night.
Sure. Dia memang ada style! Tapi berapa isi pulak......?
Alas! Goodsense prevails
The gomen must have thought about the repercussions if they went ahead with the caning of the lady for consuming beer in public.
If a precedent is being set, we would have witnessed countless numbers of high profile politicians, civil servants and cronies businessman being flogged in public, for drinking beer, whisky or brandy.
Son in law, JJ and Hishapmudin........ what a relief!

Bit Bit Embarassing
I went to settle some outstanding payments on the Indah Water bills. I wanted just to make some part payments to avoid them sending legal letters or summons to me. I hate paying Indah as no direct services were rendered to us.
I wanted to pay RM200 but when I open my wallet, all I got was only 3 RM50 notes! What to do. Pay what you have lah!
Money fairy! Money fairy! I need help.
Ah Kau Kor, Your Love-Hate Porkseller
Ah Kau Kor is the most popular pork seller in Kampong Simee market. You got to admire this guy. Despite his non-stop grumblings and sarcastic comments towards his female customers, they just love coming back time and again to buy pork from him. Not that his pork are cheaper than other stalls, he has that kind of charisma that women just love and hate to buy pork from him.
Ah Kau Kor is a nice man by nature and I believe that age is catching up with him and with no feasible "succession planning" in place.
We OK, You no OK
DPM caution MCA Ong and Dimensi Tiong over their public spat on the dirty shit spilling before the public eyes and said this would affect Barisan image.
Next, he said on investigations by MACC on Opposition, people who did no wrong should not worry.
DPM, dont worry! The show has just begun. Your machais did no wrong. Let the shit flows.....
Gomen H1N1 Fuxxed-Up Policies
We are already in the mitigation phase and this is bleady serious and gomen is reluctant to disclose H1N1 hotspots. Dont put the rakyat at risks, let them know the areas badly affected and do all that is necessary to curb the infections taking place at the affected areas. It is your moral duty to disclose the hotspots to prevent more innocent people falling victims.

Help! H1N1 getting our of control
The gomen is not doing enough to curb the spread of the H1N1 flu. It is all talk and little implementation with not much effect at all. The daily numbers of the new cases and the fatalities are increasing and it not under control and will continue to get worse.
If there is a need to wear masks, increase the supply of masks and make it easily available for the people to get and wear it. Do a wide publicity campaign over the mainstream media and set up billboards at strategic locations to inform of the dangers of H1N1.
Stop all political posturings and get moving, assholes!
Astro sucks
Astro are real suckers. I hope TM can fastrack their launch of their pay TV asap to break the monopoly of Astro.
I though Astro has a change of heart recently when they offered to me to view for free Burning Flame 3. There must be a catch somewhere - how can you get free lunch nowadays. Within a week or so, I receive a note from Astro saying that they have to increase the cost of the Astro Sports Channel due to higher operating cost. And the standard quote" Even after the increase, our cost is lower than other regional operators".
Idiots, did you mention the quality of your programme compared to other regional operators. Despite launching additonal satellites into space, we are still being served with "snow" programmes during rainy and even cloudy days.
Please get this right first or you will end up like the famous "power window" experience of Proton!

Cabbies to sue anti- ISA organiser
You fuxxxxing cabbies must be out of your mind. You are lucky that the authorities are turning a blind eye to your antics of fleecing and cheating your innocent passengers. Get a life and fuxxxx off!
Ha! Ha! Ha! Gomen to use Internet Filter
The gomen has made the right decision to use internet filter to stop undesirable websites. It is for the good of the people not to listen to alternative or opposing views of gomen policies. The mainstream media will provide us with all the relevant info for our consumption.
I for one will save some monies as I would no longer be buying any computers and will not also be subsribing for streamyx services. On top of that, CNN would also most probably be filtered out due to their worldwide coverage and the Sports Channel to be replaced by local football news to encourage more youngsters to play the game and to improve spectator interest due to the massive decline in supporters over the last few years. I would also consider stopping Astro services as there would not be many interesting channels to watch.
The monies saved would be used to subscribe for Berita Harian and Utusan Malaysia newspapers to learn more about racial harmony and hope that my children will have a better future in the country.
Victoria Beckham- Judge on American Idol!
My God! Victoria Beckham being a judge on American Idol. Fox Entertainment must be very desperate with the fall in ratings that they are considering bringing in "stars" as guest judges to boost ratings. With due respect, Victoria is good for "display" only and her popularity stems from her being part of the Spice Girls and not as a lead singer.
Not surprising, you would see " one stroke of genius" Ronaldo or Federer being invited as guests on the show.
Poor Paula! They said they offered you an improved pay package but so are the other judges on the panel but I think you have enough of the derecognition given you after all these years on the show.
Mr. Gold ( The Little Mouse)
Everytime I look at my car and the peeling paint at the top, I get very upset. When I sent it for repainting to Mr. Gold, he promised that he would do a good job and gives me premium quality paint. Hardly two years had gone and the paint has started peeling. I can accept mistakes but I cant stand cheats. This little mouse can sometimes make you look silly.
Generally he is ok. Without doubt, he has rendered his assistance over many occasions in the past but why cant he lived up to his promise every time.
Am I demanding? Probably yes -I only pay for genuine value added services. I dont like to be taken for a ride.
A(H1N1) Flu Updates
Breaking News!
MOH has informed that recent testing of flu-like illness confirm that almost 95% of the cases are caused by the H1N1 virus.
Doctors would only prescribe symtomatic relief medication like panadol and cough mixture and recommend self quarantine. ( No tongue wrestling and pinball putting allowed!)
70% do not need any anti-viral medications like Tamilflu or Relenza. Only severe cases need to be referred to hospitals for further treatment.
Note: Those having difficulty of getting Tamilflu medicine, please refer to MIC or Samy Vellu. They hold the franchise. For Penang residents, unless the High Chapparal issue is solved, Samy will not give any more Tamilflu tablets as a revenge for destroying Indian Heritage settlement.

Paula Quits American Idol
My sympathies goes to Paula Abdul. After so many years, I believe it was a heart-breaking decision to call it quits after being a part of the top draw show. But man, you have pride and how long can you tolerate discrimination by your show producers.
Simon Cowell was paid about US48 million per season, Ryan Seacrest US15 million and Paula got only US4 million. Thats peanuts - dont make a monkey out of her!
Paula has got more to offer than Simon but I do agree that Simon is the key to the show.
I gonna miss her seductive looks and her big boobs!
Early Morning Blues
In the past week or so, there are too many suckers making provocative and inflammatory statements both in the online and mainstream media and it is shocking that the gomen has kept quiet and not doing anything about it and on the other hand trying to get the message across to the rakyat on the many good virtues of the propaganda slogan of "1 Malaysia".
There are many Malaysians across all ethnic groups who are well educated enough to think for themselves what is right or wrong, fair or unfair. Please dont treat us as idiots.
On another note, we find that many highly educated intellectuals are preaching what they do and not doing what they preach. Its high time such idiots stop being hypocritical and have a life.
Diaphragm Breathing
I am trying diaphragm breathing to reduce my stress levels. The slow breathing process let you feel that the air is going in when you breathe in and when you exhale, it gives you a relaxing sensation when you expel carbon dioxide from your body. They asked that you do it once when you wake up and another time when you go to sleep.
Dont know whether by practising more that the recommended times, will it do more harm or good to the body.

I thought I would not be invited to this year's dinner after giving my proposal to one of my clients.
I was informed of my invitation for the dinner on August 21, 2009.
This year's dinner is suppossed to be the 70th anninversary dinner and is to be held at the Syuen Hotel.

Banning Alcohol in Selangor
How can you imagine banning alcohol in Selangor! It is not only ridiculous, it is totally absurd.
Come on, my friends, control the culprits, dont target the businessman.
What the Chinese said: " If the cow does not want to drink water, how can you force it".
Dont next target massage parlours. I will die standing!
Not that I would patronise them, this is what Ipoh is famous for and is one of the key drivers of the Ipoh economy.

Tomato Sauce! Tomato Sauce!
I found out today that the five bottles of Maggi tomato sauce that I bought sometime back had expired! What happened? I dont know what to say and I am really cheesed off by it. This looks something like penny wise and pound foolish. You know it is not always that some of your favourite things are offered for sale and when there is a sale, you tried to stock some up. But how do you control such stocks- maybe there is a need to have some stock control cards done up. Anyway its good to apply some knowledge learn during college days. What is the point of learning and not applying what you learn, rite?
Dont you thing you agree with me that such sauce should be placed on the dining table and not in the refrigerator. What you see, you will use. What you dont see, you dont use.
Anyway, the dining table should only be used for eating and not for books, rite?
I thing we got to get this matter sorted out.
There goes my RM10.
1 Malaysia hitting the brick wall
Utusan and Berita Harian newspapers are doing their best to counteract the promotion of ! Malaysia by the gomen. This is being reflected in the narrow views perpetrated by their journalists thru racism and labelling gomen institutions such as police, judiciary and the MACC as Malay institutions and that any challenge to such institutions on their integrity and dignity are considered as challenging Malay rights!
Racists journalists, please wake up. We are not stupid and dont show us your stupidity.

Window Shopping
Lately, I have been doing some window shopping on my own- and window shopping means no buying! Being a "horse" means I have to look like, behave like and be seen as a horse and horses seldom lie around doing nothing.
So what I gonna do is to spend some time in the evening, after dinner, walking around shopping complexes, hypermarkets or pasar malams to window shop. At shopping complexes, I would browse for interesting reads or look at items like tools, gadgets, accessories, and kitchenette articles that really fascinate me as to the convenience that such things bring. Its amazing what technology has brought to us and no wonder I heard over the radio this morning that our country rank among the top in Asia based on the obesity of its population.
It is good way to help me to burn some fats away and I always feel better and less stressful after such "shopping ventures".
1 Malaysia. What is it?
According to a recent survey, here are the results:-
(i) 40% dont know what is 1 Malaysia
(ii) 40% something to do with unity
(iii) the balance all sorts of definition
My friend just called and asked whether I want to eat "1 curry mee".
I called my remiser and he answered " 1 remiser speaking..."

What more can you do?
Me and my other half are at our wits trying to impress upon our kid to make full use of the golden opportunity given by the gomen for him to further his education. From what we had gathered, the gomen has agreed that all students who have been given this opportunity will be sponsored for whatever courses approved by them at local public universities and selected private universities, and also at prestigious universities including Ivy League universities overseas, if they managed to get accepted into such universities. How often do you get such offers! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it is better than striking a lottery. That is why we spent so much time to lobby for it and also took the effort to go all the way to Putrajaya to do it personally. Credit should be given to my other half for her untiring and relentless effort to chase for it and this is something I admire about her.
We have seen time and again that 'bright' students with straight A's have not been given scholarships and places in universities to pursue their choice of courses and a dream career. Our gomen practise a certain degree of bias in the award of scholarships and 'who you know' is critical in the selection process. But sometimes due to circumstances, the gomen do provide some 'cheers' to soothe protesting public demands, especially close to election times.
What do you do when such scholarships are given, and especially two years ahead of entering universities. IT GIVES YOU A TWO YEARS PERIOD TO PLAN AND WEIGH YOUR OPTIONS. How many people are so lucky! Thousands of other students are studying for their exams not knowing where, which and what universities they are going to and on top of that, whether they have the financial means to do it.
So please 'find info' on which are the prestigious universities being recognised by the gomen and what are the application procedures and the respective timelines for application and acceptance. An executive summary of your application timetable would be a basic need in this instance. You would also need to have a preview of the courses offered and shortlist your few preferred courses and thereafter, you need to get the gomen to confirm whether such courses would be acceptable to them. There is no point in applying into courses which are not acceptable to the gomen as they would be the financiers of your studies.
We really hope that he would take the lead and we can then provide him with the necessary back-up support. He should also understand that what he needs to do now will benefit him much in the near future.
Please understand that this is nothing compared to what you need to do when you are into your working life. Your superiors may push many assignments to you to take advantage of you and at the end of it, to reap the fruits of your labour when there are rewards.
So please do the needful. You will be the main beneficiary of your own responsibilities and your future is all in your hands. We can only do as much though we would like to do more.

A laughter a day
Priest lost his chicken and asked during mass:
"Anyone got a cock?"
All men rose.
"I meant anyone seen a cock?"
All women rose.
"I mean anyone seen my cock?"
All nuns rose.

Dear Hosts, where are you?
I attended a dinner last night in Kampar in honour of a friend's mother grand birthday. When we reached the restaurant at about 7pm, which was the time given to us, the hosts were not around to greet guests arriving for the dinner. They only managed to turn up a good half an hour after the stated time. Talking about bad organisation, this is surely one of the golden picks. Though it was not difficult to identify the place, as hosts I think it is plain courtesy for one of the hosts to be around to guide the incoming guests.
Putting aside the unpleasant episode, the food was fairly good and there was a genuine concern to give a good meal to the guests.
The occasion also gives me an opportunity to meet many friends whom we have not met for a very long time, some for more than 20 years.

Breakfast Appointment
Ah Heng Chai agreed to have a breakfast meeting this morning to discuss on a proposed sale of land by a friend. He called at 9.10 am and apologised that he could not make it as he has another appointment to attend.
I thought he agreed to the appointment after looking through his schedule. Maybe other matters have higher priority that our appointment. I sulked but let not this matter destroy our friendship built over the years.
Things like this happened every now and then. Just move on.
"Now, everyone can fly!"
Last week, I was informed that there would be a meeting in Taiping this coming Friday. I dont mind since this is part of my responsibility and the career path chosen by me. Yesterday, I was informed that the meeting would now be held one day later which is on a Saturday, a non-working day for me and like what they say, a "rest" day and a day you should be spending time with your family. Inclusive of the travelling time to & fro, it would be more or less the whole day taken up. On the same evening I have given my commitment to attend a dinner in Kampar!.
This morning I was told that I would be needed in Cameron Highlands to attend a so-called residents association meeting on the said Saturday as well. I hope the tag line. "Now, everyone can fly!" would be true. Or else, how would you juggle up and be present at the various places at more or less at the same time.
What a weekend!
Dinner time
I hope my kids do understand that I need some space after dinner to help me with the digestion and not pile on the calories as fats into my body. At my age, my metabolism is slower and I need movements after dinner to help with the digestion and the burning of the calories intake. I am trying hard to lose weight and I do not want to go to bed within an hour of taking dinner. It is very unhealthy and more so at my age. It may be a walk in the park, a stroll at the supermarkets or hypermarkets or a leisurely drive to sightsee some interesting views. I give you a tip - this is the best time to buy things that you need. You accomodate, I accomodate. Please dont asked to be sent home immediately-you need to accomodate other persons needs in additon to your own. That's one of the virtues of life.
I request you kids to take this into consideration. Dont say that you dont have time for the dinner and asked us to "ta pau" for you. We appreciate your company during dinner and the little chat that we have - though keep us free from discussion over studies or brag to us about your so called achievements. Your mum may be more keen to listen to your achivements and the best time to do it is when she does the cooking. Either we have more tasteful foods or we are sucked!
Are we safe in our country?
The Home Ministry has asked for response from the public on its survey as to the safety of Malaysians. 97% of those who responded have indicated otherwise. I dont understand why they asked for a survey in the first place. Malaysians have not felt safe for a long time already and do you mean that they were not aware of it. You see how they have lost touch with people.
Do you expect changes to take place in response to the feelings of the people. Keep your fingers crossed. The first indication will be whether we will have a new chief in the PDRM in the not too distant future.

You need to have a life
I'm so cheesed off by other half that whenever a suggestion is being made, she would pour cold water on it or makes silly excuses not to go along with your suggestion. Surely, a compromise is one of the options. The fact is if you want to accomodate, there is always a solution. But if do not, then nothing helps.
Issues like kids having tuition, school activities over the weekend, monthly tests coming up and a lot of household chores to catch up with. Come on, all these are norm issues and there are not exceptions. Everybody needs some space for their own life and the key is you have to compromise!
YOU CANNOT KEEP TAKING WITHOUT GIVING!

Fair or Not Fair
Two guys, Chong and Akmey, bought an island and starting to work on it to generate wealth. Both are equally hard working but Chong leads a simple life while Akmey likes to enjoy what he earns and travel frequently overseas for holidays.
Chong saves US1,000 per month while Akmey spends all of what he earns and sometimes borrow from Chong to help him tie over.
After 20 years, when Chong's children grew up, he found that his existing house was not big enough and decided to build a much bigger house with a swimming pool, a karaoke room, a wine bar and a mini theatre.
Akmey was jealous and complained that Chong has got so much wealth and he has nothing much to show. Akmey wants Chong to share 30% of what he has with him.

Political Idiots in Penang
Certain youths of a political party lodged a report with the MACC over the CM non-compliance with their requests for details on tenancy agreement, costs of renovations over the rented bungalow and when to move back into the CM official residence.
These idiots really have nothing good to do.
I suggest that they go further and give an ultimatum to the CM and asked him to disclose within 3 days what colour of the underwear he wears from Monday to Sunday so that the idiots can keep track of his preference in the name of transparency and democracy.

What you should not do after Meals
The 7 Dangerous Acts after meal THE SEVEN DANGEROUS DON'T ACT THE 7 ACTIONS BELOW AFTER YOU HAVE A MEAL
1. * Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.
2.* Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest. *
3. Don't smoke- Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes.
4.* Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.
5 * Don't bathe - Bathing after meal will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
6. * Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
7.* Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.

Language is like sex!
I pick this up somewhere.
"Language issues have some of the characteristics of sex: Everyone does it, and consequently everyone think they are an expert.”
“However, it is neither teachers nor parents who teach most adolescents about sex; rather it is a cadre of other adolescents mostly characterised by knowing little about the matter."
Sadly, our education process is politicised by both sides of the divide.

Ah Heng Chai
Ah Heng Chai is a good friend of mine and we do meet to talk cock every now and then and we also try to brag to each other about our and our family achievements. There is something that we have in common - we always complain about our partners and their shortcomings and how they should see our way of thinking which is always right!
Today, Ah Heng Chai told me that he is buying a new car and is now in the process of applying for a feng shui number from the JPJ. I did not ask him what number as he believes that if he tells me what is the number, then he wont get it. He is changing to a new Sonata. Previously, he was talking about a Camry. Now he says Sonata is a very good car whereas Camry has got a lot of problems as the quality control is not so good now. I should have told him that Proton is a better car as it is made in Malaysia and can acclimatise to the Malaysian weather much faster and being made by Malaysians, it has all the boleh qualities unheard of by other foreign manufacturers.

How Stupid!
Our DPM when campaigning in the Manek Urai by-election told the crowd that the BN candidate is a University graduate whereas the PAS nominee is only a fishmonger, as such the BN candidate would be a better choice.
How stupid can he me when over 80% of the residents in Manek Urai are fishmongers or their extended families. To make matters worse, the head of the Manek Urai fishmongers Association got their members to donate 40 barrels of fishes to each of the districts for the benefit of the residents.
Who do you think will win the election? No need to guess.
Teaching a Dog to Bark!
Dont laugh! This is a fact and I am as astounded as you are. My neighbour brought home a dog sometime back and as you know, dogs when there are put in a new surroundings, will feel uneasy over the first few days until they are orientated. They will bark or howl to show their uneasiness and esp so at night.
One day while having a break at home and watching the idiot box, I heard my neighbour calling to the dog, " Bark! Bark! Wou! Wou! Wou!"
This is something new to me. I dont know whether they are others who teaches their cat to "Meow!"
Sure, I believe in lifelong learning.
A Better Day
Sometimes things that you have not had for quite a while can give you a boost to your life. It is a stimulant and you do crave for it until the fun is no longer there. The cycle repeats itself and you cannot force it. Let nature takes it course.

Weight Loss Struggle
I am desperate to shed some weight but somehow it doesnt seem to work. I am grossly overweight and I need to get those unwanted fats out of my body. Pls dont ask me to starve. I have tried. It takes me about a month to shed two kilos but within days, I put them back again. My metabolism has slowed down quite a bit. I think I need less quantity but better quality food to give me the required energy. I am now on multivites and other supplements to boost my system.
Science and Maths Conundrum
Malaysia Boleh! We flip and we flop at regular frequencies that non-malaysians are at their wits end trying to find out where are we heading. The latest decision on the teaching of science and maths in English back to the vernacular language is the case in point. Mind you that this latest twist is a political decision to score brownie points and not really towards the welfare of the students or a decision made to enhance the students knowledge or their capabilities. We are actually going back in time by at least 6 years because it was in Year 2003 that the decision to teach science and maths in English was made.
And before you can even digest the latest flop from the goverment, it may flip again going by the survey that Da M is doing on his blog campaigning for the reinstatement of the policy formulated by him. If you are a book publisher, you would laugh all the way to the bank.

Social Kissing!
What is actually social kissing! I am too naive to understand this term. Is there also such a thing as charity kissing.
In times like this with the imminent threat of the fast spreading H1N1 virus, I think any form of hug or touch should be discouraged.

Free Seminars
Yesterday, I attended a free seminar at the Sime Darby convention hall conducted by Bursa Malaysia. Free seminars usually attracts a lot of participants especially those that are conducted by other organisers for a fee. Throw in free lunch and tea breaks, you will get a full house. At times like these with a gloomy global economic outlook, such seminars are most welcome.
Favourite Idol
The recent conclusion of the Wimbledon Tennis tournament was a big relief for me. My kid was rooting for Roger Federer to win an unprecedented 15th Grand Slam and the return to the N0. ! standing in the world rankings. Luckily, Nadal was injured and withdrew from Wimbledon or else she would be more tense as she hated Nadal. Nadal was a fine player but the fact that Nadal beat Federer at the last year's Wimbledon and French Open was too much for her to accept. At the recent final, no matter how much I wanted to watch the game, it was too tense for me when it became increasingly clear that it would be a very close match as Roddick was practically playing his best tennis todate. I tried to sleep but I couldnt as I would also like to know who the winner is. I sneak out to catch a glimpse of what the latest situation was. It was even with 2 sets each and leveled at 8 points in the decider. It was unbearable.
The next morning, when I saw the news flash on th TV that Federer won, what a hugh relief it was for me.

Charity Begins at Home
"Charity Begins at Home". Why you may ask? Thats where your closest relatives are. And these are the people who spent their lifetime looking after your interests. They tried to give you the best eventhough they may not be able to afford it. They let you eat first eventhough that is their favourite meal. They criticise you becoz they want you to give your best and you make use of the opportunites available to you. You may not be the best but at least you give it your best shot. Whose parents want their child to be outcasts and failures.
Mind you, the least you all could do is to show your appreciation and reciprocate in meaningful ways. Dont yell and scream that your teachers said you are responsible and we do not know how to appreciate your responsibility.
Firstly, those are your teachers and you are the pupil. If you are given a task or an assignment and if you do not submit within the timeline, you will be punished and worse still, you may be blacklisted and marked down. Every student will try to please their teachers unless you are one of those delinquent students.
We are your parents and we expect you to fulfil your fair share of your duties and responsibilites at home. What you do at school and what you do at home are two different issues and please do not linked the two of them together. Just because we are your parents, dont take advantage. We are advancing in age and our energy and stamina may not be enough to tackle all the household chores and responsibilites.
Do your fair share, put up your plans in writing for the future and crystallise them as you move along.
You need a plan to succeed and there is no such thing as planning for failure!
Woman (Wolfman!)
Your wife keeps complaining to you that your kid is lazy, uncooperative, selfish and irresponsible. You tell her why not tell it direct to the kid rather than complaining to you. She said that you are the 'man of the house' and its your duty to discipline the kid. Of course, you are not so stupid to pick up an immediate confrontation with the kid. You wait for the opportunity and then you strike!
You blast the kid with all the superlatives that your wife told you and add more punch to it. Your kid fought back and said that you are unreasonable with all the wild accusations. You retorted: " Ask your mommy and see!"
Your wife replied: " I dont know and I am not too sure!".
Talking about woman and you know why their drive their man crazy.

Koh Samui Lunch
I am supposed to be on diet but when your client ask you to go for lunch, what can you do but to go for lunch. I had lunch at Koh Samui and we or rather they ordered belachan petai prawn, soft shell crab and steamed siakap sweet and sour. I make it a point to abstain or cut down on high cholesterol and sweet foods. Looks like I have to go light on my dinner with greens and a little chicken, maybe.
Its also damn difficult to lose weight. I managed to cut 2 kilos but looks like if I am not careful, I may add back the 2 kilos within the next 2 weeks. Pls dont cook too many good food for me....

A very good lunch
Today, I had one of my favourtie meals for lunch - yummy fish head! It was a garoupa fish head cooked with mushrooms and ginger. Thanks to my wife for cooking such a wonderful meal. I know you spend quite sometime getting it done but it was a meal much appreciated. Just as you hinted during lunch, I have no objections to your propose purchase of the promotional items.
See what a nice meal can do!
Ladies, men are very easy to deal with. Just know what are their weaknesses.

What she does....
Does your partner:
1. Nags you everyday on little things that you find irritating
2. Tells you every now and then that her wardrobe needs replenishing
3. Tells you how nice it would be to spend holidays on certain exotice islands
4. Always buys prawns for you as it is your favourite food
5. Gives you your choice of breakfast everymorning
6. Checks your handphone on calls and messages
7. Asks you to strip for noticeable signs after a wild night out
8. Look for lipsticks on you shirt collars
9. Always harp on unity talks
10. Never ask for monies unless given
My Partner doesn't.

The Man and His Life
I wake up in the morning. I tidy up the bed and then I go for my morning walk. Thereafter, at home, I would arrange to boil the water and fill up the water containers so that the "fellas" can have their water ready for them when they are thirsty.
Before going to work, I try to catch up on the latest news on the local and foreign scene so that I have something to talk when I go "yam cha" with my buddies. My working hours will stretch until late evening when I arrived home. Of course lah, I go home for lunch as I was asked to take "home cooked food" as my body cannot take a lot of unhealthy outside food.
After work, on certain days, I will have to go to our favourite bakery and buy some buns and cakes for my fellas to eat when there are hungry and to take to school the next morning. I would also go to a nearby vegetable stall and get some greens for the next few days. Upon reaching home, I will try to catch up on the latest news and see whether the market is up or down for the day. Then, I would also check on whether there is enough of drinking water for the next day.On certain occasions, I would do some brisk walking in the late evening as well. After about half an hour's rest on some days, I would have to fetch my kid from the tuition centre and upon reaching home, I will try to have my dinner. As I take my dinner rather late, I would try not to sleep early and sometimes I would take a walk at one of the hypermarkets and knowing me, I would have to buy something, especially those things that come with some gift items. I always have a weakness for these gift items.
Before I go to sleep, most times I would have to arrange the ironing board and related accessories back to the place where they belong. And before I can lie on the bed, I would also have to clear up the bundle of clothes on the bed.
At the end of the day, I am told that I did not help in maintaining the cleaniness of the house!

A Day at the Courts
Just to share with you how our Malaysian judicial system works. I was summoned as a witness to appear in a magistrate court case since Year 2002. Whenever there is a mention of the case, whether with hearing or without hearing, without fail, they will sent me a summon and asked me to attend court on that day.
When they sent me a summon, I will have to attend court. By attending court means I have to wait outside the court to see whether I am wanted or not on that day. If the hearing is postponed, they will asked me to go back and come again at the next hearing when they will issue another summon to me. I will share with you some of the instances when the hearings are postponed. Lawyers unable to make it, magistrate sick, magistrate spouse sick!, magistrate on course, prosecutor on course, witnesses not present, new magistrate, new prosecutor and this whole chain of events will repeat itself over the duration of the trial, of course not in the same order.
I was so fed up with them after severat outings at the court that I approached the Public Prosecutor and asked him when am I able to take the witness stand and tell them what they wanted to hear from me. Do you know what was the reply. " I dont know why they call you, I did not ask for your attendance!" And yet at the next hearing, I will receive another summons again requiring me to attend court again. Malaysia Boleh!
After all this nonsense, I told myself that I am not going to court to waste my time and skip the next few hearings. One fine day, a policeman came calling at my house while I was working to ask me where I was. My wife told them that I was at work and give them my handphone number for them to call me. I went to the police station after work and there and then they told me that I was under arrest for not attending court! What nonsense! But the policeman who attended to me was quite nice when he said that he would offer bail to me and that I must be in court at the next hearing. But documentation has to be done before I can go home as it was way past working hours. I told them that I will report to them again the next morning but they told me that unless the documentation are completed, I would have to spend a night at the station. But luckily, things turn out well and I was able to go home.
At the next hearing, I was asked to explain to the court on my absence and thereafter the hearing started. Another shocker! The key witness who is required to be there was not around as the police said that he could not be located and that the case has to be postponed. I was informed that if the witness is a government servant, once he retires, there is no way you can get him to attend court. Probably, he would have gone back to the kampong and would be unreachable. Now you know why the guarantors for loans taken from the government can never be located and the loans never recovered.
Well, the defence lawyers have asked for DNA at the next hearing and hopefully, things would end.
By the way, DNA stands for Discharge not amounting to an acquittal and not something relating to DSAI. Just in case DSAI stands for Dato Seri ............

I love chicken......
I love eating chicken and I can have chicken meals everyday without getting stale. I can have KFC, Mcdonalds, lemon chicken, ginger chicken, Ayamas Chicken, black sauce marinated chicken, chicken chop, curry chicken, asam chicken and all kinds of chicken la!
