Favourite Idol

The recent conclusion of the Wimbledon Tennis tournament was a big relief for me. My kid was rooting for Roger Federer to win an unprecedented 15th Grand Slam and the return to the N0. ! standing in the world rankings. Luckily, Nadal was injured and withdrew from Wimbledon or else she would be more tense as she hated Nadal. Nadal was a fine player but the fact that Nadal beat Federer at the last year's Wimbledon and French Open was too much for her to accept. At the recent final, no matter how much I wanted to watch the game, it was too tense for me when it became increasingly clear that it would be a very close match as Roddick was practically playing his best tennis todate. I tried to sleep but I couldnt as I would also like to know who the winner is. I sneak out to catch a glimpse of what the latest situation was. It was even with 2 sets each and leveled at 8 points in the decider. It was unbearable.
The next morning, when I saw the news flash on th TV that Federer won, what a hugh relief it was for me.
